Mercedes-Benz launches electric vehicle training program for US employees

The electrification of the automotive market will be key in the coming years as carbon reduction targets become more and more necessary. The mobility sector is responsible for some of the carbon dioxide that diffuses through the atmosphere and raises the Earth’s temperature.

In this sense, sea, air and land transport are involved, and it is the latter that is the most advanced of all in terms of electrification. Vehicle manufacturers have been working for years to improve this part of the production to achieve zero emissions.

Tesla is no longer alone in this mobility sector as all manufacturers must reduce their carbon footprint by 2030 and 2050.crucial years to reduce carbon emissions that warm the planet’s atmosphere and accelerate climate change.

Mercedes-Benz is aware of this reality and is implementing various plans to reduce its polluting impact. The production of electrified models and the introduction of the use of biofuels through its team in Formula 1 are part of the German brand’s strategy.

Now he also added development and training plan for an electric vehicle company called the Mercedes-EQ Experience. This program will take place in Alabama and will target both corporate and dealer employees.

The training will last three days and will aim to “energize, educate and electrify Mercedes-Benz team members across the country.”

“The Mercedes EQ experience is a completely immersive learning experience designed to ensure participants are not only excited about the electric future of our brand, but also confident that we are explaining the benefits and technologies to our current and future EV customers.” assured Lisa Rosenfeld. , general manager of the Mercedes-Benz Academy, through an official statement.

The plan is divided into three days

Mercedes-Benz has developed this plan to start the first day with a day of knowledge and interaction among all involved. The second day will consist of four modules educating employees on how Mercedes-EQ VR works and works, the technology and future strategies of the electrified sub-brand, and a hands-on interactive workshop on building block technology for electric vehicles.

Finally, on the final day, a driving experience will be shown to demonstrate the potential, strength and technological potential of electric vehicles.
