The 2022 model is no exception, taking it to the next level after a brand new off-road package that gives it a mostly wild look and optimized for the toughest road imaginable.
Aesthetically, Hyundai added a unique paint scheme which stands out at first glance with a combination of bold colors that create symmetry with each other, despite the fact that they are completely different.
Designed by Hyundai Design North America, Brad Arnold, Hyundai Santa Cruz exterior designer, and Matt Marble, senior graphic designer.
“The Californian surf lifestyle was combined with a custom bandana motif to create the off-road styling of the Rebelle Rally Santa Cruz paint scheme. The rally livery is also honored by the following sponsors, who helped Shaw and Ciminillo make it through this difficult event over the course of eight days.
Physically, Falken tires, rally innovations, off-road wheels and truxxx have been added. The company assures that the truck received minimal modifications, such as off-road tires, skid plate and lift kit.
These changes were carried out by Hyundai Motor America Range Engineer Eric Buxton, who did a flawless job to achieve the results described above.
Finally, a custom-equipped 2022 Hyundai Santa Cruz pickup will take part in the seventh annual Rally Rebelle, a women’s off-road event starting October 6 in the California and Nevada deserts driven by Jill Ciminillo and Christine Shaw.
