Electric Gelendvagen showed its capabilities to the public for the first time (video)

The Mercedes-Benz EQG will receive four engines with a capacity of more than 600 forces and will be able to rotate in place. Gelendvagen’s power reserve will be at least 500 km.

Mercedes-Benz has demonstrated the capabilities of the new EQG SUV. The electric Gelendvagen will go on sale from 2024, but its prototypes are already being actively tested and have already carried out demonstration work on cars. This was reported by the Autocar publication.

Test out the camouflaged Mercedes-Benz EQG prototypes. However, earlier the electric Gelendvagen was declassified, and this happened in Kiev – an SUV was brought to Ukraine to shoot a commercial. The electric car will differ from the standard model in the design of the radiator grille, bumpers and optics.

As part of the demonstration, the Mercedes-Benz EQG electric car showed good cross-country ability and showed a “tank” U-turn on the spot.

Such capabilities were achieved thanks to an innovative power plant. The Gelendvagen electric car immediately received four motors (one per wheel) capable of simulating differential locks. Also, the rear wheels turn.

The exact specifications of the Mercedes EQG have not yet been announced. However, the developers said that the power of the electric car will exceed 600 hp. The SUV will receive a battery with a capacity of about 100 kWh, and the cruising range will be at least 500 km.

Previously Focus reported that the electric Gelendvagen will have a competitor from Volkswagen.
