The Mercedes-Benz EQT electric car is equipped with a 122 hp engine and can travel 285 km without recharging. Soon there will be a seven-seater version of the minivan.
The new Mercedes-Benz EQT is unveiled in Germany. The electric minivan goes on sale for 49,000 euros and will be the brand’s most affordable electric car. This was reported on the official website of Mercedes-Benz.
The new Mercedes-Benz EQT is an electric version of the T-Class model based on the new Renault Kangoo 2022. The power plant is borrowed from the electric Kangoo E-Tech.
The Mercedes electric car is equipped with a 122 horsepower engine and 45 kWh battery. The minivan has an acceleration capacity of 130 km / h and has a power reserve of 285 km. It takes 38 minutes to charge the battery up to 80% in fast mode.
The electric variant differs from the standard Mercedes T-Class in its front design with a new grille. So far, the standard 4.5m five-seater version has hit the market, and an extended seven-seat version and even a Marco Polo caravan with a sunroof are expected in 2023.
But even the short version is very spacious inside, and the trunk volume is 551-1979 liters. In addition, the cabin provides a large number of compartments for small luggage with a total volume of 49 liters.
