New BMW X3 2024 shown in first images (photos)

As the exterior of the new BMW X3 will change, the interior will also be larger and more spacious. The crossover will be offered in petrol, diesel, hybrid and electric versions.

The first images of the fourth generation BMW X3 have been released. The premium crossover is now undergoing testing and should be available in late 2023 or early 2024. This is reported in the Auto Express publication.

The design of the BMW X3 G45 will be in the spirit of the younger X1 model. The transition will widen the wings and increase the grille, and the headlights will become more slanted. Also noteworthy are the modified door handles, as on many new BMWs.

The 2024 BMW X3 crossover will retain the CLAR platform but will be larger than its predecessor. This will make the interior more spacious and increase the trunk. The interior will be designed in the spirit of the BMW 7 Series, with two curved screens on the dashboard.

The new BMW X3 will retain the 2.0 and 3.0-litre petrol and diesel turbo engines, but will be more powerful and complemented by a 48-volt hybrid unit. The sporty BMW X3M will remain at the top of its class.

At least two plug-in hybrid cars will also be offered, and the BMW iX3 electric car will hit the market in 2025. It will receive an 800-volt powerhouse that will increase its range by about 30% over its predecessor and reduce battery charging time.

Previously Focus Mercedes-Benz reports that it is preparing to update the G-Class SUV. There will also be an electric version.
