The next-generation autonomous shuttle can move on its own without human intervention. It will be built in collaboration with software development company Oxbotica.

ZF has deployed its services to Rotterdam and Masdar City. In total, they traveled 62 million kilometers with more than 14 million passengers.

The new shuttle will include other new technologies, including the ZF ProConnect connectivity platform and the ZF ProAI supercomputer, which connects to the surrounding infrastructure and cloud.

For complex tasks, the total computing power of the latest ProAI version of ZF can reach 1500 TOPS, 50% more than the previous version of the shuttle. The company said it has already placed more than 13 million orders and expects further growth in the future.

The ZF service will be able to carry up to 22 passengers. It will have 15 seats.

Autonomous vehicles have automatic ramp and wheelchair restrictions. They comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act.

The new ZF shuttle will be able to reach a speed of 80 km / h. Battery options with capacities ranging from 50 to 100 kWh will be offered. They will be able to travel up to 130 km on electric traction.
