The standard Mercedes-Benz Sprinter is equipped with a 2.1-liter inline four-cylinder diesel engine with 161 hp. and a torque of 358 Nm. However, the Polish tuning studio ABT Drift Garage did not have enough of these features.
The new turbocharged BMW M57 engine has been redesigned. A modernized turbocharger from CR-Turbo was installed on it, and the electronic control unit was reconfigured. There’s also a new exhaust system from MJ Exhaust.
As a result, we managed to get 280 hp. strength. The engine is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission with a custom-built driveshaft.
Tuners weren’t just limited to internal improvements. The Mercedes-Benz Sprinter has a new grille, different bumpers and tinted headlights.
