The Wuling Journey EV will be offered in a cargo version as well as passenger versions with 7-9 seats. The power reserve of the electric car will be 250-300 km.

The first photos of Wuling Journey EV have been released. The budget electric minivan will go on sale for under $20,000 before the end of the first half of the year. This was reported by the CarNewsChina site.

General Motors Wuling’s Chinese division became famous for its low-cost electric vehicles. Most are compact – the most popular Wuling HongGuang Mini EV only reaches 3m in length.

Now Wuling has begun electrifying its large models. A petrol version of the Journey minivan is already available and starts at $10,300. The cost of the electric car has not yet been disclosed, but it will drop below $20,000.

Dimensions Wuling Journey EV 2023:

  • Length – 5150 mm
  • Width – 1840 mm
  • Height – 1910 mm
  • Wheelbase – 3180 mm

The Wuling Journey EV electric car differs from the petrol version only by a plug that replaces the radiator grille. It has a simple, angular design with a tall hood and vertical C-pillars.

The model will be available in passenger versions with 7, 8 or 9 seats, as well as a cargo van. The interior is dominated by hard plastic, and the equipment is rather weak.

The new Wuling Journey EV will be equipped with a 136 horsepower engine. The power reserve of the electric car will be about 250-300 km.
