The Chevrolet Corvette C7, which belonged to the late American general and former US Secretary of State Colin Powell, was sold at auction. All proceeds from the sports car will go to charity. This is reported on the website of the auction house Barrett-Jackson.

Colin Powell once raced US President Joe Biden in this Chevrolet Corvette C7. The then-American Vice President was driving his 1967 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. Later, Colin Powell’s son also raced with Joe Biden in the same car.

The auction house shared that Powell drives his Chevrolet Corvette C7 every day. The mileage of the car is 25,105 km.

The sports car is perfectly preserved and still looks like new. The previous owner took very good care of it.

The Chevrolet Corvette C7 is painted Gunmetal Gray, complete with chrome wheels. The roof is made of carbon fiber and can be removed by hand.

The interior is made of black fabric and leather, and the 8-way seats are electric. The car also has keyless entry, push-button start and an 8-inch infotainment screen.

The Chevrolet Corvette C7 is equipped with a 6.2-liter naturally aspirated V8 engine with 460 hp. and 630 Nm of torque. It is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission.

The sports car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.2 seconds. The maximum speed is 290 km/h.

The auction house donated $200,000 for the Chevrolet Corvette C7. All the money will go to charity.
