Driving license and registration document sharing functionality in the Kyiv Digital application will speed up the car return process from the penalty area. You no longer need to take photos of documents on the vehicle and wait for the parking inspector’s decision.
It has now become easier to pick up a vehicle that has been evacuated from the penalty area in Kiev. The procedure has been simplified thanks to the integration of Kyiv Digital and Diya applications. This was reported on the Telegram channel “Diya”.
The Kyiv Digital app now has the functionality to share a driver’s license and registration certificate. Previously, the documents on the vehicle had to be photographed and the parking inspector’s decision had to be awaited, but digitization has accelerated the process.
In order for the service to work, you must enter the vehicle number in the profile of the Kyiv Digital application. If this was not done, you need to press the “K” button at the bottom of the main screen, select the “Evacuation” menu item and the “Check car” service, then enter its number.
After the vehicle is evacuated, a push notification is sent to the vehicle owner. You need to open it and select “Buy a car”. Then through the “Diya” application you must attach the driver’s licenses, specify the arrival date of the car and pay a penalty for violating the parking rules.
The app will generate a QR code. You can return your car by presenting and scanning it.
Previously Focus reported that online customs clearance of cars will soon work in Diya app. Payments will be calculated according to a complex formula.
