The first photos of BAW Jiabao have been released. The smallest and cheapest electric car from the BAIC concern will soon go on sale in China at prices ranging from 46,900 to 56,900 yuan ($6900-8400). Details of the car appeared on the CarNewsChina website.
The new BAW Jiabao is a compact A-class electric car with five doors. It has an angular design with a high hood, thin headlights and embossed sidewalls. 13-inch wheels are standard.

Salon BAW Jiabao got a two-tone finish. Although the model is budget, two screens are installed on the front panel: 7 inches in the basic version and 10.25 inches in the upper version.
The basic equipment of BAW Jiabao includes voice control, air conditioning, central locking and tire pressure monitoring system. Options include versatile cameras and a Wi-Fi hotspot.
The Chinese electric car is equipped with a 27-horsepower engine and accelerates to 100 km/h. Batteries with a capacity of 9.6 and 13.6 kWh can be chosen: the power reserve is 122 and 172 km.
