Lamborghini plans to electrify its entire product line by 2025. These plans include the appearance of a Urus hybrid crossover.
Lamborghini will replace the Urus crossover with a new electric model. This could happen as early as 2029. This is reported on the Carscoops website.
Lamborghini CEO Stefan Winkelmann said the Italian brand aims to electrify its entire product range by 2025. One of these models will be the successor to the Aventador supercar, which will receive a 1015-horsepower hybrid power plant.
The brand’s most popular vehicle, the Lamborghini Urus crossover, is also in the electrification plans. The model will be a heavy-duty hybrid. This change has already been noticed in tests.
Winkelmann also talked about the emergence of a completely new model. It will be a fast four-seat electric supercar and is scheduled for 2028.
Lamborghini also has plans for the Huracan supercar. The model will be powered by an electric motor, but the fate of the 5.2-liter naturally aspirated V10 engine remains a mystery.
Lamborghini’s CEO stated that these moves will help the brand achieve its goal of significantly reducing emissions. Winkelmann emphasized that the two electric vehicles will reduce emissions by about 80%.
Previously Focus Lamborghini reports that it has launched a unique version of its Huracan STO track supercar called Time Chaser_111100.
