This is the Sunny EV: a curious vehicle that charges its battery with sunlight.

Cargo and transportation work in urban areas is one of the many industries that the automotive sector has to use, and Bako Motors understands this very well, which is why it introduced the all-electric Sunny EV.

The vehicle has a special shape, as if it were a box. It is used to transport materials, but it replenishes its battery best by extracting energy from the sun.

This project was presented at the IAA Mobility 2021 exhibition held in Munich, Germany, and had two specific goals. The first was based on introducing to the public a car that could be the solution for sustainable mobility in the near future, and the other was to try to attract potential investors who had bet on the Sunny electric car.

Through this virtual offering, its concept can be seen, although Bako Motors did not provide details on its technical specifications.

However, he said that a solar electric car can travel 50 kilometers. Its power will charge a 48-volt lithium-ion battery that can provide an additional 100 kilometers of range, and as mentioned above, it will have a solar panel on the roof to replenish its charge.

Its boxy aesthetic will allow it to carry loads of up to 350kg, which is indeed significant given the car’s size and its three-wheel configuration, although since it’s a digital concept it may have variations prior to its official release. on sale.
