After the removal of “zero” customs clearance, imports of used cars from abroad decreased significantly. However, Ukrainians constantly bring about 10,000 used cars per month.
From September to December 2022, 60.8 thousand used cars from other countries were registered in Ukraine. In January-February – another 20.2 thousand.
Which countries import the most used cars to Ukraine?
81,000 cars were imported into Ukraine in the last six months. 49.7 thousand of them were brought from European Union countries and 24.3 thousand of them were brought from American countries.
In the first place from September to February 2022, the United States (23.9 thousand cars), Poland (16.4 thousand cars) and Germany (14.3 thousand cars) became the largest exporters of used cars to Ukraine.

Most of the money was paid for passenger cars from the USA (about UAH 9 billion/244.7 million). Ukrainians spent UAH 2.9 billion ($78.8 million) on cars from Poland in the last 6 months. Germany is in third place (UAH 2.4 billion/65.3 million).
