Exclusive from the 90s: a very rare charged Mercedes S-Class W140 spotted in Ukraine (photo)

A custom Mercedes-Benz S70 AMG photographed in Ukraine. This is one of the rarest versions of the famous executive sedan of the 90s.

In total, about 15 (according to other sources – 18) charged Mercedes-Benz S70 AMGs were released. The cars were made to order and the public didn’t even know about this version. Also, the sedan was very expensive.

The main difference between the AMG version and the standard Mercedes S-Class W140 is hidden under the hood. The car is equipped with a V12 engine, the working volume of which is increased to 7.1 liters – a similar engine is installed on the supercar Pagani Zonda.

The output of the V12 is 496 hp. With. and 531 N∙m. A gigantic two-ton car accelerates to 100 km/h in 5.2 seconds and reaches 300 km/h.

Visually, the sporty version hardly differs from the standard Mercedes S600 W140. It comes with only a modest body kit, custom wheels and twin tailpipes. The cabin retains its familiar styling, the only change being two separate rear seats.
