The luxury and prestige of Ducati have been the main characteristic of the brand for many years. High caliber motorcycles that are now leaning towards electrification. From 2023, MotoE will have all the engineering and technology achievements for its championship. As if that weren’t enough, the manufacturer wants to keep expanding beyond motorcycles, but not to give up two wheels.
The Italians have introduced an electrified bike: Futa. Sporty, elegant, aesthetic and road ready. Specialist Tok left his mark during the process. Two models arrive with great detail, the first one is mentioned and the second one will be a limited version.
The Ducati Futa is priced at €9,690 and the Ducati Futa LE is €11,990. It should be noted that the limited version is available for purchase in just 50 units, one of its advantages is its low weight (12.5 kg).
Both bikes have an electric motor located at the rear, in the wheel hub, so that it weighs less. The power unit produced by FSA provides 205 W of power with a maximum torque of 43 Nm. The battery is located in the frame, inside the tube and integrated, allowing it to be used at 250 Wh.
However, Ducati is considering expanding the battery by another 250 Wh. It has five pedal assist modes and a display designed by Garmin. Among its physical features, the concept of carbon fiber parts, a hydraulic braking system and Pirelli Citurato Velo tires stand out.
