The road to the World Car Awards 2023 ended with a resounding triple win for Hyundai after the winners were announced live during the New York International Auto Show.
All thanks to the Hyundai IONIQ 6, an electric vehicle that won the following awards: World Car of the Year, World Electric Vehicle of the Year and World Design of the Year.
This confirms Second consecutive victory for Hyundai Group in all three categoriessince the Hyundai IONIQ 5 won the same three categories last year.
Elections led Jury of the competition “Car of the Year”which was attended by 93 automotive journalists from 28 countries. The winners were selected by secret ballot, the results of which were verified by KPMG.

sang yup lee, The Executive Vice President and Head of Global Design Center Hyundai and Hyundai Motor Company (HMC) Genesis attended the awards ceremony to participate in a media Q&A session and receive his trophy as Car man of the world 2023.

Thus, the triple award is positioned as a great achievement for Hyundai, as it demonstrates its ability to innovate and lead the electric vehicle industry, where, without a doubt, Hyundai IONIQ 6 will be one of the most visible vehicles on the market in the coming years.
