Mercedes-Benz pulls a popular sedan out of production: what will replace the model?

Passing through three generations, the Mercedes-Benz CLS has become popular thanks to its stylish design and rich equipment. The model fell victim to the brand’s new strategy, which would overhaul the entire model range.

Mercedes-Benz continues to change its product range as part of its updated strategy. In August, production of the CLS four-door coupe will be discontinued. This was reported on The Drive website.

Mercedes-Benz has announced that the CLS will expire on August 1, 2023. The model will not receive the next generation in the future.

The Mercedes-Benz CLS was first introduced at the 2004 Geneva Motor Show. It was a sleeker version of the E-Class model.

There are three generations of Mercedes-Benz CLS, each with an avant-garde design. After the launch of the AMG GT 4 Door in 2018, demand for the model began to decline. Therefore, the brand will focus on the release of a more promising car.

Also, Mercedes-Benz will soon be getting rid of C-Class and E-Class coupes and convertibles. These tools will be replaced by the new CLE.

The fate of the C-Class, E-Class and CLA station wagons is also in question. Their production could end in 2024.

Previously Focus He wrote that a new sixth-generation Mercedes-Benz E-Class has been introduced in Germany.
