Toyota’s new compact crossover first spotted during testing (photo)

The new Toyota C-HR has grown and has an impressively versatile design. The compact crossover will only be offered in hybrid versions.

Spy photos of the second-generation Toyota C-HR have surfaced online. The compact crossover is being tested on the famous German circuit Nürburgring. This was reported by the Motor1 site.

The new Toyota C-HR 2024 was covered in camouflage film during testing, but its design is visible. Visually, the crossover is almost identical to the pre-production concept car introduced at the end of 2022.

The Toyota C-HR crossover has an original faceted design with a pointed nose, a wedge-shaped silhouette and slim LED headlights. It is reminiscent of the 2023 Toyota Prius hybrid and the latest bZ4X electric car. The only noticeable difference from the concept is the presence of rear door handles (they are hidden on the shelves on the prototype).

The new Toyota C-HR will be launched in late 2023 or early 2024. The wheelbase of the model, which will be built on the TNGA platform, will increase compared to its predecessor.

The compact crossover Toyota C-HR 2024 will only be offered in hybrid versions. The power plants will be borrowed from the Prius, so their power will be between 140 and 223 hp. With.
