The Citroen Type Holidays camper is made in the spirit of the Type H model from the 50s. Inside there are sleeping areas and a small kitchen.
An unusual Citroen Type Holidays caravan was presented at an exhibition in Düsseldorf. The caravan is made in retro style. Its details were revealed on the official website of the French automaker.
Slovenian company Bravia Mobil helped create the concept car. The trailer is based on the Citroen SpaceTourer, but that’s hard to see when looking at the vehicle.
The caravan resembles the famous Citroen Type H minivan of the 50s, which can be seen, for example, in movies about Fantômas. The famous ancestor of the new Citroen Type Holidays has a wide grille, round headlights and ribbed sidewalls.
At the same time, the interior of Citroen Type Holidays is quite modern. Its roof rises to create a sleeping area, and the rear sofa unfolds into a bed. There are also swivel chairs, folding table, lots of drawers and cabinets.
The kitchenette is equipped with a sink, stovetop and refrigerator. An autonomous Webasto heater is also installed.
While the new Citroen Type Holidays is technically a concept car, it also heralds a brand new model series. It is worth noting that the Citroen Berlingo also has a similar retro version and is mass-produced.
Previously Focus He said Volkswagen also introduced its trailer in Düsseldorf.
We also wrote that there is a rare 2000 model Citroen electric car in Ukraine.
