In an official statement Hyundai introduced a new generation Kona SUV through a redesign “futuristic” based on the electric variant, which will be available in four different versions.
Now he Kona enters the market through an all-electric variant, a hybrid, another internal combustion engine and last but not least: sports N Line loaded with versatile architecture that adapts to different styles.
“With the unique character of KONA, the new vehicle confidently expresses its bold and dynamic presence, which has evolved in every way to embrace an even wider range of diversity, becoming a true advocate for lifestyle.” said Sun Yup Lee, executive vice president and director of the Hyundai Design Center.
Outstanding Opportunities
Hyundai ensures that the new Konaand became biggest SUV but just as powerful and efficient, designed for everyday city driving and offering high comfort inside, its length has increased to 4355 millimeters (150 mm longer than the previous model). In addition, it has become 25 mm wider and 60 mm further between the axles.
Mechanically, the manufacturer guarantees that the power unit has been modified. However, at the moment it is not specified what it is. On the other side, Hyundai describes Kona as a futuristic car but with dynamic styling accentuated in the wheel arch liner and the addition of headlights and taillights that continue to convey the Kona vibe.
Other details that stand out in the new Kona are the front grille, rear bumper, 19″ alloy wheels, Side mirrors and black roof (last option). Technologically, it has dual 12.3-inch wide screens and a floating module with extra space for more comfort.
