The 2016 Mercedes G-Class has been converted into a six-wheeled pickup truck. It has inflated tires. and its interior is trimmed with expensive leather and carbon fiber.
An interesting project was implemented in Ukraine. Zhytomyr masters recreated the legendary six-wheeled Mercedes G-Class. The TopZhir website writes about this.
The six-wheeled Gelendvagen was created by order of an American of Ukrainian origin. He owns a transport company and already has a Ferrari 488, Porsche 911 GT3, Mercedes S-Class and Lamborghini Aventador SVJ in his garage.
Based on the 2016 Mercedes-AMG G63. It was lengthened, a wood-clad body and a third axle were added.
The front end is taken from the more modern 2022 Mercedes-AMG G63. The car was tuned in the style of Brabus, with a convex hood and without chrome parts. Carbon fender flares and a snorkel were also revealed.
Of course, the ground clearance was increased, branded Mercedes portal axles and huge inflated off-road tires were added. All work was done very carefully.
The Gelendvagen’s interior is covered in yellow Nappa leather, Alcantara and carbon fiber, and the roof lighting imitates a starry sky, like in a Rolls-Royce. Sound insulation has also been improved. Leg room was increased by moving the second row seats back.
This is far from the first such project of Zhitomir craftsmen. They had previously created both six-wheeled Gelendwagens and the extreme Mercedes-AMG G63 4×4².
Moreover Focus He told me that a unique Mercedes G-Class Maybach had been recreated in Ukraine.
