Production of the Audi R8 supercar will end in 2023. American tuners decided to demonstrate the potential of the model by creating an off-road version for rally racing.
It was based on the first generation model released in 2014. The car received reinforced struts and Bilstein sports suspension. However, many transmission parts were left untouched.
Protective plates were installed on the car. Exhaust and intake systems were also renewed.
The supercar has been given new Mesh white wheels. They are shod with Falken Wildpeak all-terrain tires. A steel bumper with spotlights and a roof rack complete the upgrade.
The vehicle was tested on a dirt road. According to the team, the supercar performs well off-road thanks to its Quattro four-wheel drive system.
The Audi R8 is equipped with a 4.2-liter naturally aspirated V8 engine that produces 430 horsepower. and 430 Nm of torque. It is paired with a 7-speed automatic transmission.
Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes 4.3 seconds. The maximum speed is 300 km/h.
