The old Gelendvagen received the features of the latest Mercedes-AMG G63 4×4². Its design has been updated and off-road capabilities have been significantly improved.

An interesting tuning of the Mercedes-Benz G-Class was carried out in Finland. They decided to modernize the SUV and prepare it for serious off-road use. This was reported by the website Carakoom.

The owner wanted a modern three-door Gelendvagen, but there is no short version of the current generation Mercedes G-Class – its production was discontinued in 2011.

The old Gelendvagen has been redesigned in the style of the new charged Mercedes-AMG G63 in a 4×4² off-road version. He took the front part from the modern model: the radiator grille and bumper were changed, diode headlights were installed. Rear lights have been changed.

In addition, the off-road features of the Mercedes-AMG G63 4×4² have also been revealed. The car was equipped with portal axles, which significantly increased its ground clearance. Also noteworthy are the snorkel, carbon arch extensions and the massive 22-inch wheels with off-road tires measuring 325/55 R22.

The specifications of Gelendvagen have not been announced yet. For reference, the new Mercedes-AMG G63 4×4² is equipped with a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 producing 585 hp. With. The vehicle can reach 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds and can reach 210 km/h.
