Ararkis Sandstorm electric car can accelerate to 100 km/h in 1.5 seconds. Carbon, aluminum and magnesium are used in the design of the electric car.
British startup Ararkis Automobili introduced its first model, Sandstorm. The supercar will be the world’s fastest electric car. Details were announced on the company’s website.
The electric car takes its name from the planet Arakis in the cult novel Dune. And Sandstorm translates as “sandstorm.”
The new Ararkis Sandstorm has a striking design. Wide and low, the Coupe has a large windshield, prominent fenders and a large wing. Thin diode headlights and flashlights look original. The doors go up.
In addition to carbon, aluminum and magnesium, some of the materials in the supercar’s design are obtained through recycling. The package includes Bose acoustics, versatile cameras and cruise control.
The electric supercar Ararkis Sandstorm will have a dual engine unit and will be able to reach 100 km/h in 1.5 seconds and reach speeds of over 300 km/h. This will be the fastest electric car in the world, because even the 1900-horsepower Rimac Nevera goes from zero to hundred in 1.82 seconds.
The 115 kWh battery will provide a range of 500 km and can be charged up to 80% in 30 minutes in fast mode.
A total of 20 Ararkis Sandstorms are planned to be released. The price of the supercar will be 2 million dollars.
