Nuevo Leon is exploring a cooperation agreement with the logistics center Alliance Texas

On his third and final day of his working trip to the US state of Texas, the Governor Samuel Alejandro Garcia Sepulveda met with directors Alliance Texas in Fort Worth to explore the possibility of entering into an economic development and logistics cooperation agreement to attract foreign investment to Puerto Colombia.

After flying around the facilities of the Logistics Center, the state president noted that Colombia is a safe area with the potential for transnational companies to cross trucks.

In addition, he noted the reduction in time at the commercial crossing due to agreements with Government of Texas.

“This place has great potential because the land is good, we have no houses, there are no people, we have opened three highways that will save us an hour and a half,” explained García Sepúlveda.

“This is the most secure section of the border, so the United States trusts each other and has many dual control programs. Instead of Laredo, where the crossing takes five to seven hours, we do 15 minutes,” he added.
