Putin said that the peak of difficulties from sanctions for the Russian economy has passed

The peak of difficulties from Western sanctions in the Russian economy has been passed, Russian President Vladimir Putin said on October 27 during the plenary session of the Valdai International Discussion Club.

“The goal was to bring down the Russian economy. It didn’t work, yes. It really has become much more adaptive, flexible,” Putin noted.

The Russian economy, according to the head of state, will develop on a more stable and sovereign platform. And Russian business quietly intercepts enterprises and activities that are released by those who decided to leave Russia.

“Our business takes and leads those enterprises that just recently seemed impossible to exist,” Putin noted.

During his speech at a session of the Valdai Discussion Club, Putin pointed out that the West lays claim to all of humanity’s resources.
