According to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, if Ukraine cannot supply the required number of air defense systems and transformers, the situation in the energy sector will begin to resemble a vicious circle due to the constant missile attacks of the Russian Armed Forces.
To overcome and restore the consequences of missile attacks by the Russian Armed Forces on the Ukrainian energy system, our country needs transformers and the latest air defense systems. This opinion was expressed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmitry Kuleba.
“We need two things to restore the power grid: transformers and air defense systems,” he said.
According to him, transformers are needed as an important part of the country’s energy system. And air defense systems to hit enemy missiles flying into our energy structure.
If our power engineers and army do not receive these two necessary components in the near future, a “vicious circle” will form in Ukraine. The RF Armed Forces will constantly attack critical infrastructure, and Ukraine will make it operational.
Addressing the partner countries, Kuleba emphasized that by providing air defense, they helped Ukraine not only in the military field, but also on the energy front.
Previously, the National Security and Defense Council had hinted at how Ukraine could emerge from the energy crisis. According to Oleksiy Danilov, long-range missiles for the Ukrainian army will deter invaders from attacking Ukraine’s critical infrastructure for a long time.
Recall that in Ukraine as of November 28, 99.7% of boiler rooms were successfully launched, despite the martial law in the country and the attacks of the Russian Armed Forces on critical infrastructure. Now special efforts are being made to establish the work of heat-generating enterprises in the liberated areas of the Kharkov and Kherson regions.
