Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree allowing the government to issue permits to conduct transactions with persons under Russian retaliatory sanctions. Document text published on the Internet portal of legal information.
“Grant the government of the Russian Federation the authority to issue temporary permits for certain transactions (operations, actions) with persons under sanctions“, – the text of the decree says.
Recall that on May 3, Putin signed a decree “On the application of retaliatory special economic measures in connection with the unfriendly actions of certain foreign states and international organizations.” As one of the retaliatory sanctions, Russian companies were banned from making transactions with persons who fell under counter-sanctions. The decree, signed on December 22, makes it possible to carry out such transactions, but only with the approval of the government.
Previously, the Czech manufacturer of pencils and stationery Koh-i-Noor suffered from retaliatory sanctions, and recently actors Jim Carrey and Vikings star Katheryn Winnick were included in the Russian sanctions list.
