How much gas does Ukraine need for the heating season?
Ukraine started the heating season with gas reserves of 14 billion cubic meters in underground storage facilities. However, in order for our country to survive the winter period in a stable manner, it needs to import another 2 billion cubic meters of “blue fuel”.
At the same time, the government already financially supports Naftogaz:
- lower gas rent
- reimbursement of a group of expenses associated with the introduction of special obligations for the provision of public services (PSO).
