In 2023, the Moscow Export Center will help Moscow entrepreneurs present their products at 15 international exhibitions. Applications are already open, Deputy Mayor Natalya Sergunina said.

According to her, the action plan was drawn up on the basis of the wishes of the businessmen themselves. They present their products to potential customers at stands under the combined Made in Moscow brand (“Made in Moscow”).

The exhibitions will be held in 13 friendly countries, including India, China, Kazakhstan and Egypt. They will be attended by representatives of the film industry, manufacturers of clothing and accessories, construction companies. In addition, IT companies will be able to present their solutions at Gitex Africa in Morocco and Gitex in the UAE, and food manufacturers at Vietfood Beverage in Vietnam. Also, companies working in the cosmetic field will be able to present their products at Professional Beauty Johannesburg in South Africa, and furniture companies at the Furniture Fair in Serbia.

Sergunina added that in addition, various business missions are planned in 2023. “The capital’s exporters will meet with potential partners in the business circles of 23 countries of the Middle East, Asia, Africa, Latin America and the CIS. Negotiations will be held in Moscow, abroad and in an online format,” the deputy mayor specified.

The capital’s Made in Moscow export support program was launched in 2017. During this time, Moscow enterprises that took part in international exhibitions and business missions signed contracts with foreign partners for 2.4 billion rubles. All expenses for the organization of the business part of the program are borne by the IEC.

In 2018, Moscow launched the large-scale My District program aimed at creating a quality environment throughout the capital. This includes a set of works that should provide each district with convenient transport, modern libraries and cultural centers, clinics and schools, comfortable places for recreation and sports. Each direction of the program takes into account the needs and wishes of residents.
