The head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, promised Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky a meeting in his country and assistance. With such results, as she admitted on her Twitter page, the first telephone conversations with the head of the Kyiv regime took place.

She noted that in winter the EC will support Zelensky with generators, light bulbs, awnings and school buses. And, traditionally, money.

“We are continuing our strong financial assistance. We will soon begin disbursing our €18 billion support package in monthly tranches. I look forward to seeing you again in Ukraine soon”– wrote von der Leyen.

She reiterated that the European Union will support Ukraine “for as long as it takes.”

Recall that the former adviser called Zelensky a clown for his inexperience and senseless hope for the West.
