By order of the Ministry of Energy, load measurement will be made on January 24 to determine the total amount of energy consumption. Further planned shutdowns will depend on its consequences.
The operators of the electricity distribution system in the Poltava and Ivano-Frankivsk regions announced on Tuesday, January 24, that there will be no electricity restrictions for consumers. According to Interfax-Ukraine, this is because load measurements are made to determine the total volume of consumption.
In the Poltavaoblenergo message on Facebook, “Regime measurements of electrical loads will be made in the Poltava region on January 24, 2023. Please note that there will be no limits and restrictions (interruptions) of electricity on the day of measurement. It will be done.”
In response, Prykarpattyaoblenergo reported on Tuesday that they will measure the size of the load to find out how much electricity the region consumes per day under normal conditions.
“… Between 00:00 and 23:59 no limit will apply.”
Measurements of the hourly active load in electrical networks are made according to the order of the Ministry of Energy, it depends on the results of further restrictions, these are the initial data from which graphs will be built.
Consumers were asked to plan their days before planned shutdowns were implemented. This will let you know how many megawatts are needed for normal operation.
Recall that 2,500 complaints were filed with NEURC due to unfair power cuts. The Commission will evaluate the results of inspections in seven oblenergos at its meeting on January 24.
