There may be minor local power outages in Ukraine in the coming months, but they will not come to the point of blackout. Yuriy Boyko, member of the Supervisory Board of Ukrenergo, spoke about this during the national telethon on Wednesday (March 1st).

According to a member of the Ukrenergo Supervisory Board, the electricity situation in Ukraine is constantly improving.
Boyko said, “We are restoring power plants and some generation capacities that have been destroyed quite actively. Therefore, the main trend is to increase the amount of electrical energy available.”

On Wednesday, March 1, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held an energy meeting attended by Naftogaz, Energoatom, Ukrenergo and Ukrhidroenergo.
