Large-scale changes are being prepared in the tax service in Ukraine – we are talking about the introduction of e-audit, e-consumption and the electronic profile of the taxpayer. In other words, tax will be completely digitalized in the 2023-2024 period.
Already in 2023, the first major changes regarding the digitalization of tax will take place. In this respect Focus People’s Deputy Danil Getmantsev, head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Finance, Tax and Customs Policy, spoke in an interview.
“There will be many changes. After all, these are all elements of digitalization that we have already talked about. Electronic SCT – the ability to trace a bottle from the producer to the end consumer and detect that it is not fake by scanning. -audit – an entrepreneur uploads a report with one click and only communicates with tax afar. Electronic profile of the taxpayer – the taxpayer understands how it is assessed and what to do in order to enter the “green zone” and never be checked by tax authorities in field tax audits. Filing of tax returns for individuals and individuals,” Danil Getmantsev outlined the planned stages of tax digitalization, when the tax office actually fulfills the function of an accountant and, collecting all the information about the payers, presents the signature declaration in the electronic office .
According to him, a new contact center of the State Tax Service will open in April.
“It will be a completely new tax service, we didn’t have such a service, a new digital reality. First, pre-filling of tax returns will begin in March.” It is necessary to pass a law on e-consumption and develop software, and it will be in 2024. E-audit will also be introduced in 2024,” said Danil Getmantsev.
