The Kiev Defense Rada allowed the sale of alcoholic beverages in stores from 11:00 to 21:00. On March 20, the press service of the Kyiv City State Administration published the details.
The relevant decision enters into force on March 27. Local authorities hope this will help businesses and contribute additional revenues to state and local budgets. Appropriate actions as designed by the authorities will prevent the illegal circulation of alcoholic products.
They decided to lower the curfew in the capital as of March 26. According to the new rules, it will work every day between 00:00 – 05:00. Mayor Vitali Klitschko announced that public transport vehicles can work for one more hour if the restriction period is shortened.

Martial law and curfews affected the activities of the shops. From April 1, 2022, city officials have relaxed the ban on the sale of related products. Already on May 16, the sale of alcoholic products was allowed in public cafeterias in the city from 11:00 to 22:00. From June 2, it was possible to sell alcohol in the capital’s stores from 11:00 to 19:00.
