Russia ranked 50th in the world in terms of inflation

Annual inflation in Russia amounted to 10.99%. These calculations were shared RIA News.

The agency has compiled a rating of countries in the world in terms of inflation. Russia took 50th place in this top, and its “neighbors” were Austria with 10.9% and Mauritius (11%).

The largest level of price growth was noted in Lebanon (190%) and Argentina (102.5%). Also in the top five countries in terms of inflation were Zimbabwe (92.3%), Sudan (63.3%) and Suriname (58%).

In Europe, Moldova, Hungary and Ukraine became “anti-leaders”. The inflation rate in these countries at the end of winter was 25.9 percent, 25.4 percent and 24.9 percent respectively.

The lowest annual inflation was noted in China. There it was only one percent.

Earlier, Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov predicted the strengthening of the ruble due to rising prices for Russian energy resources.
