Anti-Russian sanctions and a potential increase in their number could seriously hit the global economy. This statement was made by the official representative of the Kremlin Dmitry Peskov.

According to the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation, the Kremlin is carefully monitoring the situation with the possible introduction of new sanctions against the Russian Federation. However, according to Peskov, all this could have a negative impact on the global economy.

“This can only lead to an increase in trends towards a global economic crisis”he said during a briefing with reporters.

At the same time, the Kremlin spokesman noted that Russia is the first country in the world that has faced so many restrictions.

“We are adapting, developing, working on long-term development plans. But we also take into account the dangers that lie behind such thoughts of our opponents”Peskov added.

It should be noted that in this way the presidential press secretary reacted to media reports that the G7 countries intend to impose a ban on the full export of goods to Russia.
