Shelling of the Khmelnitsky district on October 25: details
The first deputy head of the Khmelnitsky OVA, Sergei Tyurin, said that the area was attacked with the help of enemy Shahed kamikaze drones. As a result, many buildings were damaged and people were injured.
Sergei Tyurin believes that the main goal of the Russian Armed Forces during the shelling was to deprive the local population of electricity and heating. For this reason, the Khmelnytsky district was bombed throughout the 20-month war.
“We have critical infrastructure, we have the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which regularly inflict painful blows on the enemy. To do this, they are looking for opportunities to respond,” OVA said.
Let’s remember, on October 25, it was reported that Shahed unmanned aerial vehicles attacked Ukraine at midnight and explosions were heard in many regions. The administration of the city of Slavuta in the Khmelnitsky region confirmed that the damage occurred as a result of the Russian Shahid attack. Khmelnitsky Nuclear Power Plant is located a few kilometers from this city.
