Thus, in 2024, the requirements for the length of insurance coverage in Ukraine have changed. Now only Ukrainians with at least 31 years of experience will be able to retire at the age of 60. If you do not have such experience, you will have to wait until you are 63-65 years old.
How much experience is needed to retire in 2024:
– 60 years old – from 31 years of experience;
– 63 years old – 21 to 31 years of experience;
– 65 years old – 15 to 21 years old.
If a person who is 65 years old does not have 15-20 years of insurance experience, he does not have the right to receive a pension. Such a citizen is given a salary called social old-age pension. Its magnitude is the difference between the cost of living of people who have lost the ability to work and the average monthly total family income per person over the previous six months.
Let us remind you that as of March 1, pension payments were indexed and as a result increased by 8%. However, the increase does not apply to all retirees.
Previously, the Pension Fund reported that some retirees could receive six pension payments at the same time. This applies to citizens who plan to go abroad for permanent residence.
