According to the Pension Fund, more than 6 million Ukrainian pensioners receive less than five thousand hryvnias per month.
In Ukraine, every fourth pensioner receives less than 3,000 hryvnia per month. Only 12.5% of Ukrainian pensioners receive more than 10 thousand hryvnia per month. Such data were published by the Pension Fund of Ukraine.
A quarter of retirees (25.5% of the total) receive a pension of 5 to 10 thousand hryvnia per month.
In general, the amount of pension payments for Ukrainian citizens is currently as follows:
- up to 3000 hryvnia – 26.1%, 2,682,526 people, average pension – 2,762.99 hryvnia;
- From 3001 to 4000 hryvnia – 17.3%, 1,777,635 people, average pension – 3,546.82 hryvnia;
- From 4001 to 5000 hryvnia – 18.6%, 1,907,551 people, average pension – 4,415.16 hryvnia;
- From 5,001 to 10,000 hryvnia – 25.5%, 2,614,542 people, average pension – 6,854.13 hryvnia;
- More than 10,000 hryvnias – 12.5%, 1,281,468 people, average pension – 15,326.88 hryvnias.
Let us remind you that on July 16, in the publication “OBOZ.UA” it was reported that some Ukrainian pensioners received a significant increase in their pensions thanks to indexation, but not all.
On the same day, the publication “About Pension” reported that length of service requirements have been tightened in Ukraine: to retire on time, Ukrainians will have to work longer or may be left without a pension.
