To receive assistance from Caritas, a family’s per capita income must not exceed UAH 6,318 per month.
The Caritas Poltava Charity Foundation continues to accept applications for financial support for renting housing for up to 6 months within the framework of the multi-sectoral project to provide assistance to people affected by the war in Ukraine. This is stated on the fund’s page.
Cash assistance for 6 months of rent is provided to internally displaced persons who received this status less than 30 days ago and are registered in the Poltava, Mirgorod, Kolomak, Kremenchug and Kobelyatsk regional communities.
In this case, you must fit at least one of the vulnerability categories:
- a disabled person;
- a person with a serious illness;
- a single elderly person (60+) or a household of one or two elderly people without the support of relatives;
- single mothers/parents or guardians of minor children;
- large families (three or more young children);
- pregnant women or mothers with children under 3 years of age.
In addition, the income of each family member should not exceed 6,318 UAH per month, and the household should not receive financial assistance from other organizations. To register, you must provide the following documents:
- passport;
- taxpayer registration number;
- IDP certificate;
- certificate confirming the vulnerability category;
- certificate OK-5 or OK-7;
- IBAN account.

Let us remind you that Ukrainian pensioners over the age of 70, who receive payments below UAH 10,340.35, will receive an additional increase in their pensions from May 1. Pensioners will receive additional funds monthly upon reaching the appropriate age. Recalculation will occur automatically.
