10% of the refund accrued from the purchase of Ukrainian goods can be donated to charity.
The state program “National Refund” allows you to donate to the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. When purchasing Ukrainian goods, cashback is returned to the card, which can be used for donations. This is stated in the material of the broadcast “Channel 24”.
In particular, 10% of the refund from the purchase of Ukrainian goods can be transferred to charities in organizations represented in banking. Here’s how you can help the Armed Forces of Ukraine using the National Rebate program:
- obtaining a “National Cash Back” card from one of the banks that supports the program;
- Shop on Ukrainian goods and get 10% cashback to a special account;
- Select a charity from the list to transfer a refund in support of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Products for which a refund is provided have a special marking in the form of a blue-yellow barcode and a corresponding inscription on the packaging. You can also check the participation of products in the program through the Diya application.
It should be noted that the reimbursement system caused serious controversy even before it was implemented. Therefore, in early May Focus I understood what its features are and whether this project will be useful or not.
At the end of August, it was learned that refunds can be made through the Diya mobile application, starting from September 2. According to this program, citizens are supposed to receive 10% compensation from the purchase of Ukrainian-made goods.
