The purpose of these payments was to support Ukrainian producers and allow them to spend money on certain goods or services.
As of December 10, Ukrainians have submitted more than 6 million applications for state financial aid in the amount of 1,000 hryvnia under the “Winter Vacation” program through the “Diya” application. The government allowed payments to be made through banks for those who do not use this mobile application. This is stated in the material of the publication “ICTV Facts”.
Starting from December 10, bank partners joined the program. The aim of such collaboration is to support the older generation who lack digital skills, as well as parents of young children.
To receive payment, you must contact the bank and fill out the appropriate application form. The financial institution will open a special account into which the funds will be deposited. But you will not be able to receive cash from the bank – the money will only go to the specified account. You can use the amount at stores participating in the National Cashback program. It is important to note that these funds cannot be spent on private consumer goods such as alcohol and cigarettes.
These funds can also be used to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the form of donations or to purchase books.
How to convert 1000 “Zelensky” into cash
Initially, the purpose of these payments was to support Ukrainian producers and use the funds for specific goods and services. Therefore, it is not possible to convert this money into cash.
Users of the EasyPay service found a way to convert funds received under the “Zimova ePidtrimka” program into cash. As a result, the company had to temporarily suspend the refund feature. As noted by EasyPay CEO Alexey Avramenko, a similar scheme was mostly used by customers of the two largest mobile operators.
“Unfortunately, we had to disable the “refund” function for Vodafone and Life subscribers. Because there are “especially smart” Ukrainians who decided to disrespect the 1000 UAH idea of the Winter Holiday in this way. “Not everyone works because of the abuse of state aid,” Avramenko wrote.
How to pay 1000 “Zelensky” in Ukrposhta
Funds received through Ukrposhta branches under the Zimova єПідтирмка program can only be used to pay for services provided by the postal operator.
Such services include purchasing Ukrainian-made goods sold in post offices, ordering medicines, paying for utilities and mobile communications. There is also the opportunity to donate the funds received to charity.
Let us remind you that citizens who receive subsidies or pensions through Ukrposhta can receive “Zelensky’s thousand”. However, they will not be given cash within the scope of the program. This is a conditional thousand hryvnias deposited in 2 million Ukrainians, and they must spend it according to the list of services established by the government.
Previously, it was reported on behalf of president Vladimir Zelensky that, starting from December 1, Ukrainians will be able to receive 1,000 hryvnia from the National Cashback card, which can be opened in 12 banks and activated through Diya.
