Even 100% of electricity imports will not provide 24-hour light to the Dnieper and Odessa – expert (video)

After the next bombardment, things will be difficult for the regions it arrives at. Gennady Ryabtsev says they will have longer closing times.

Even if electricity imports in Ukraine are reduced to 100 percent, cities such as Dnepr and Odessa will not be able to provide electricity 24 hours a day. Energy expert Gennady Ryabtsev mentioned this in his comment to Kiev24.

According to him, in winter in Ukraine, electricity will not be provided to home consumers for 4-8 hours a day and there will be outages in 2-3 stages.

“Nothing has changed in the forecasts, I still say that under certain conditions it means a power outage and outage of about 3 GW, while 3 GW means 2-3 rounds of outages, that is, 4-8 hours of power outage. “This forecast remains the same for household consumers, but it is not the same for all regions, and the situation will be even more difficult for the regions they come from,” he said. said the expert.

He stated that there would be slightly shorter outages in regions that were “a little luckier” and that this would be called an objective decision.

“Even if 100 percent imports were withdrawn, this would not ensure constant electricity supply to cities such as Dnieper and Odessa; “It is not possible to provide light at all hours of the day.” — the expert summarized.

Let us remind you that the attack that took place on December 13 this year was the 12th major attack on the Ukrainian energy sector and the 9th major attack on DTEK energy companies. In total, DTEK thermal power plants have been bombed more than 200 times since the beginning of the large-scale occupation.
