Eugenio Derbez reveals new details about his health: ‘I didn’t mean to raise my hand’

After he was left in the shadows due to an accident he was in last August. Eugenio Derbez reappeared during a live broadcast with his Instagram followers, with whom he shared some details about his health status, making sure that doctors told him that he would not be able to lift his broken arm “never again”.but ready to challenge the odds.

The conversation took place this Sunday morning, November 20, on the occasion of the beginning World Cup 2022 in Qatarwhere the Mexican goalkeeper also participated Guillermo Ochoa with whom he has been friends for several years. But the broadcast wasn’t limited to football, as the actor took the opportunity to talk about his recovery from an accident in which he broke his right shoulder.

In addition to expressing how excited he was that he hadn’t been in front of his followers for a long time, the comedian explained that he’s been “a bit off” since the accident happened and due to his recovery, but he feels very good.

For all the people who ask him how he is doing as some think he is still in bed he shared that this is not the case but it is not all good news as his doctors have informed him that he will not be able to it’s okay to raise your hand.

“I feel very good, better than I expected, I had 17 fractures in this area (shoulder). The doctors told me that I would not be able to raise my arm above my shoulder, they told me never again, and my idea is to challenge the doctors and achieve this.Derbez said.

He immediately showed that his arm was still immobilized, although he assured that the sling had finally been removed.

“I’m fine, I still can’t raise my hand, I don’t have much power in my hand but I move it a lot, look. I will show you some of the progress I have made,” he added.

He also said that he was very happy to “return to work”, although not a hundred times, but continues to progress little by little.

During the meeting with goalkeeper Francisco Guillermo Ochoa, they also recalled how he participated in the head of the “Family P. Luce” more than 10 years ago before the World Cup in South Africa, giving life to his daughter’s boyfriend “Vivi”, which they joked about.

“You’re still the same, with a half-shoulder- said the goalkeeper, to which Derbez replied that he gives half-hugs, but he is doing well.

But after his accident, he also came to the conclusion that for sure his “career of the goalkeeper ended there.”
