Recorded a diss: Shakira smashed Pique and his new passion in the song

A couple of singer Shakira and football player Gerard Pique broke up last summer. The reason for the discord was the relationship of the athlete on the side with 23-year-old Clara Chia Marti. On January 12, Shakira released a diss, in which she went hard on both the ex-lover and his new passion.

The video with the new song was posted on Youtube. Within 17 hours of posting, the video had over 34 million views.

So, in the first verse, she tries to prick Pique, saying that he showed himself from the worst side, only “pretends to be a champion”, and such a “wolf like me is not for beginners.” In the chorus, first Shakira hints that he has outgrown a football player, so he found himself a girl of a “lower” level.

In the second verse, the singer notes that she definitely does not want to return to Pica, even if he “cries and begs.” And he compares the new girl of the football player with cheap clothing brands:

You traded a Ferrari for a Renault Twingo
You traded Rolex for Casio.

At the end of the song, she throws punch at her ex-husband, already uncovered by metaphors.

This is not the first song that Shakira has dedicated to Pique since the breakup. In October last year, the artist recorded a song of a different direction – in the video she appears with a huge bloody hole in her chest, holding her heart in her hand, hinting at the fact that she is having a hard time breaking up.
