Which stars criticize Russia while continuing to live in this country and what resonant statements do they make? Details about this and much more tell the program. “Military secret” with host Igor Prokopenko on REN TV.

Stars who did not support Russia

Valery Meladze

Many considered Valery Meladze a real patriot, but a recent video, according to a number of fans, put everything in its place. According to some, the singer is an ordinary opportunist. There is a video from a corporate party in Dubai, where he barely perceptibly continues the Nazi slogan in response to the cry of the viewer.

“Glory to Ukraine!”

“Glory to the heroes!”

There is also a video where, for comparison, at the same corporate party, singer Oleg Gazmanov, known for his support of the special operation, skillfully avoided the same provocation.

“Guys, let’s rest” Gazmanov said.

At the same time, Meladze, despite his rhetoric, was recently seen on the other side of the barricades – speaking in one of the clubs in Moscow.

It is not surprising that after the scandal with the slogan, the singer immediately tried to “change shoes”, but only further aggravated his situation – in Ukraine he was also perceived as a traitor.

“Money is not earned if you hate the ‘occupiers’,” said Ukrainian journalist Alesya Batsman.

“I’m ashamed. I’m ashamed of Valera,” – said Ukrainian journalist Dmitry Gordon* (recognized as a foreign agent in Russia).

And in Russia, they simply did not believe the singer, and the public itself began to escort him abroad.

“Meladze wants to sit on two chairs, it just shows through everything. And it looks very ugly. I think that this, so to speak, will end his performances in Russia. considers Associate Professor of the Faculty of Political Science of Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov, candidate of economic sciences Yuri Yudenkov.

And not so long ago it turned out that Meladze was trying to please both sides long before the start of the special operation. A video from 2020 surfaced, in which the singer confesses that he considers the only legal way to get to Crimea is to drive from the territory of Ukraine.

“I found out if it was possible to drive through Ukraine to Crimea. Well, in order to comply with all, so to speak, formalities. To which the border guards said:” No, because we are in a state of conflict with the Russian Federation “– said Meladze.

And that’s why Meladze is so fawning over Ukraine and the West. It was recently revealed that his clan had a whole shaft of elite real estate in a foreign land. According to Ukrainian journalists, in Kyiv, the singer’s brother Konstantin Meladze owns an apartment of 206 square meters for 63 million rubles and a country house in the suburbs of the Ukrainian capital.

“Housing area, like a musician, will cost 825 thousand dollars”– reported on the Novini TV channel.

Also on the video there is a luxurious villa of Konstantin for 55 million rubles near a lake in Italy. But the Meladze clan also has a lot of wealth in Russia. The mansion in the Moscow region, where Valery settled, is estimated at 600 million rubles. In addition, Meladze’s business is thriving in Russia.

Judging by an extract from the website of the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, Valery Meladze owns a shopping center on the outskirts of Moscow with a cadastral value of 145 million rubles. According to the most conservative estimates, he makes a profit of 15 million rubles a year from it.

However, the shopping center is only the visible part of Meladze’s business. Based on the data of the same state register, the singer conducts entrepreneurial activities in as many as 15 areas, ranging from trade in records to little-known activities in the field of museums and culture.

Incomes flow like a river, including from abroad. In the UK, Valery Meladze’s daughter Inga sells a brand of luxury jewelry. In addition, judging by social networks, Inga almost never visits Russia and spends most of her time as a regular guest at expensive foreign resorts.

Stars who try not to take sides

Glucose

The singer Glucose is also trying to sit on two chairs. She previously stated that Crimea is Ukrainian.

“I don’t have any attitude at all, I’m just out of politics. For me, having the opportunity to be in Ukraine is much more important. But Crimea is Ukrainian,” she said.

And the other day she showed up at a performance in a five-star hotel in Yalta. For each ticket, the guests paid at least 10 thousand rubles, and the maintenance of a villa in Spain with a pool and a garden will not pay for itself.

The recent publication by Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky of a list of 119 disgraced celebrities who were decided to block assets in Ukraine and ban entry for 10 years is also pushing for the manifestation of miracles of ideological flexibility of “star opportunists”.

However, such a measure, most likely, was only a signal for the stars who have close ties with Ukraine, and not a real punishment. This is indicated by the fact that the list contains many names of those who have nothing to do with this country at all and will not suffer from sanctions in any way. Among them was Lolita, who had never been a citizen of Ukraine, and her relatives were not left there either.

“I found myself, it turned out that I am a citizen of Russia – I confirm. For some reason, I am also a citizen of Ukraine – I do not confirm. I never was, because I was a citizen of the USSR”– she said.

Zelensky dealt with his main offenders a long time ago.

Ani Lorak

Ani Lorak, a regular co-host of the comedian at Ukrainian events and, according to some sources, a former secret lady of the heart, Zelensky was banned from entering the country back in October 2022. The reason is the incompatibility of Ukrainian citizenship and performances in Russia.

Now the singer is desperately trying to get forgiveness. In a recent post on the social network, she again spoke to subscribers in Ukrainian.

“The night passed for me – split feelings. It hurt me to talk to my brother while he was hiding in the basement with a bottle of Jack Daniel’s to the sound of bombs”– she said.

But, as some suggest, not at all for the sake of a good relationship with an ex-colleague. Just how else would you get access to a luxury apartment in Kyiv for $1.5 million again? Judging by an extract from the Ukrainian state register, the area of her apartment is 400 “squares”.

Lorak also has real estate in the Russian capital – in an elite village on New Riga worth at least 80 million rubles. And I don’t want to leave her either. So before the Ukrainians had time to finish reading her post on the move, Lorak was already singing for the Russians at the New Year’s concert in Moscow.

Stars who criticize Russia while living in this country

Dmitry Nazarov

However, there are some of our celebrities who live quietly and earn money in Russia, while they consider it normal to openly mock their country and Russians. You, of course, know this actor – Dmitry Nazarov. He became widely known after he played the role of an alcoholic cook in one youth series. So, this cinematic “cook-alcoholic” has now decided to distribute rhymes that are offensive to the country in social networks. He also offends our soldiers, who are now protecting him, by the way, in a special operation. Because if he, the Russian Dmitry Nazarov, gets caught in the teeth of some Banderite, rhymes will not save him.

“And how many foreign cities have been captured, passed, in a day (…). We will never wash ourselves off the stink of sticky shame”– said Nazarov.

Irina Khakamada

And Nazarov is not alone. The other day, Irina Khakamada, in an interview with the RTVI channel headquartered in New York, called all the mobilized Russians idiots. Interestingly, with such an attitude, the activist is not going to leave Russia, but wants to earn money here.

“Among your acquaintances, are there those who were mobilized, who had to go to the front?” they asked her.

“No, mine are not. They are not idiots,” – answered Khakamada.

Leah Akhedzhakova

Almost at the same time, the actress Liya Akhedzhakova, who still plays in theaters in St. Petersburg, spoke out sharply against the special operation.

“I’ll be honest: I’m ashamed of my fellow citizens. How tired I am of this imaginary greatness of Russia”said the actress.

But it’s one thing when celebrities live in a disconnected reality, and quite another when people from power structures find themselves in such a situation.

While the governor of the Kursk region, Roman Starovoit, is being trained at the Wagner PMC center, another Kursk official, a deputy of the Kursk Regional Duma, Maxim Vasilyev, decided to show off his wealth from a luxurious vacation in Mexico on social networks.

“A lot of money, a lot of good mood. Beauty!” Vasiliev shared.

The “shrimp would-be politician” is now being driven out of the regional Duma for a couple with his wife, who also turned out to be a local deputy.

It is curious that such a deplorable experience of colleagues does not teach other officials anything. Vologda deputy Denis Dolzhenko boasted about a photo from a vacation in Dubai the other day. Now he is facing dismissal for this.

But this is not the limit. This week, Artur Nasonov, a member of the Duma of the Stavropol Territory, fled to the European Union for permanent residence. He has been in office since 2011 and chaired the committee on education, culture and media, and now he is basking in the sun, presumably in Italy.

“The officials who go abroad during the hostilities costly, send more pictures from there, demonstrating their luxurious lifestyle, to put it mildly, unscrupulous people. Holding a public position in a country that is undergoing colossal trials, where people die, well, they are simply not worthy, so to speak, there, something to manage and steer”– said the political scientist Yudenkov.

It becomes obvious that the special operation is increasingly showing how far the values of some personnel in culture and politics were from those professed by the majority of the inhabitants of our country. The fugitives, voluntarily deleting themselves from the Russians, according to some, turned out to be the same abscess in the body of Russian society, from which our country began to free itself only now.

* An individual acting as a foreign agent.
