Rapper Rich presented the book “Tetris for the poor”

Rapper Rich (real name Richard Semashkov) presented his book Tetris for the Poor.

At the beginning of the meeting with readers, Rich revealed the details of the creation of the title of the work.

“Tetris for the poor” – this was suggested to me by my wife. This is when in the village, in order to save money, they do not bring firewood there, but bring the whole tree. And right in the yard, it’s all sawn, and then with a cleaver it’s all split into logs in order to heat the bath, respectively. And it’s all in the barn fit, “ Rich said.

According to the rap artist, “Tetris for the Poor” is a touching and honest text. Rich noted that the work describes the village life as it is.

“This book, this attempt to look with love at this gloomy, chthonic, unbroken people”Rich said.

As the musician explained, at some point his emotions were so overwhelmed that he could only express it in a printed, prosaic way. At the same time, Rich explained that the book is a reflection of the lives of other people, and not his.

“In fact, what is autofiction? I’m not there, I don’t express my opinion, I just show how people live. In this regard, the book is not about me at all”– said Rich in the course of communication with readers.

This is his debut work in prose. Earlier, Rich presented a collection of children’s poems “Klimka in the Village”.

Earlier, Rich released a new album “Culture of Cancellation”, dedicated to the Russians who decided to stay and fight without leaving their homeland. Rich talks about how easy and hard it is to be Russian. How magical and how cloudy Russia can be. How they try to cancel us, but we resist the pressure and do not cancel.
