People’s Artist of Russia, lead singer of the Lyube group Nikolai Rastorguev noted that the song survived two waves of popular recognition: first at the time of the album’s release, then when the country experienced the tragedy with the Kursk submarine.

In general, this is one of the best songs of Lyube, one of the most famous hits “said Rastorguev, adding that the song was recorded in one or two takes and immediately became a hit.

When writing songs, he says, he’s interested in a person who “does his thing in his place, no matter where.”

Rastorguev noted that Elena Vaenga managed to choose the right approach to the song, which is why she performed it “as needed.”
